About us
Bassma Organization for Development is a local NGO registered officially in Erbil on 22 May 2017 and in Baghdad on 28 March 2021. Bassma started as a (volunteer group) its projects/activities on 10/02/2017 as a gathering of several young people in Bashiqa. Bassma’s main office is located in Bashiqa, Nineveh city but runs projects and activities in a number of other Iraqi cities and towns such as Sinjar, Nineveh.
“Our vision is to build a healthy, conscious, and understanding youth generation that can present its ideas and exercise its effective leadership and pioneering role in society to have a sign of hope in its field of work, and on this basis, our goals and ideas were built.”
